Echizensoba Togo

It’s an interior design of Soba restaurant in Paris, France. In the historical architecture where the rough stone walls and the structure of the old tree remain, new elements such as white walls and wooden materials were added to create a space mixed with Europium and Japanese. Moreover, on the top of the newly inserted white wall, it was possible to display the culture of Fukui where client’s hometown, Echizenyaki, so that it became a space like a gallery exhibiting local culture while being restaurant. フランス、パリのそば屋のインテリアデザインです。 荒々しい石の壁、古い木の構造体が残る歴史ある建築の中に、白い壁や木の素材などの新しい要素を加えて西洋と和が混在した空間を創出しました。また新しく挿入した白い壁の上部にはクライアントの出身である福井の文化、越前焼をディスプレイでき、レストランでありながら地方の文化を展示するギャラリーのような空間になるようにしました。
