Norn Outdoor Cafe

It is an outdoor cafe design of Norn ski area in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture. In spring, when the snow melts, the ski area becomes a narcissus flower park. I designed a small building that provided books and a cafe on the mountain. The two sides of the overhanging eaves and the doors are configured to be offset, and the strong horizontal lines of the building are intended to stand out in the mountains. I designed it has a strong presence that is also familiar to landscapes even if it is small 群馬県みなかみ町のノルンスキー場の屋外カフェデザインです。春になって雪が溶けるとスキー場はスイセンのフラワーパークになります。その山の上で営業する本とカフェを提供する小さな建築の設計をしました。張り出した軒と開閉する建具の二つの面がずれるように構成され、建築の強い水平のラインが山の中でも目立つように意図しています。小さいからこそランドスケープに馴染みながらも強い存在感を持つようなデザインを考えました。
