This is the project for Japanese cafe in Eiheiji, Fukui. The site is located on the corner of Monzen-cho at the foot of the main mountain of Eiheiji Temple. Therefore, we respect the elegance of the double-layered roof of Eiheiji Temple, and design the roof so that it can move around the city from this corner.comfortable space.

福井県永平寺町に建つカフェの新築工事の計画です。永平寺本山の麓の門前町の角地が敷地です。そのため、永平寺の屋根が二重に重なった気品溢れる様を尊重し、またこの角地から街を周遊する動きがでるように屋根が回転しているようにデザインしています。屋根の下は大きな縁側になっており心地よい空間をつくっています。
