Ferry Terminal Proposal

It’s a competition proposal for a ferry terminal in Korea. Because it was a ferry terminal to be built in a big park facing the big river, I thought about building that can be integrated with the park landscape. The circular roof is a large spiral staircase, on the upper part we rise while climbing the stairs bringing a nice view, on the lower part we approach the interior of the building while gradually descending the step. I proposed a building that is composed of strong geometry but also makes a comfortable place for many people. 韓国に建つフェリーターミナルのコンペ応募案です。大河に面した大きな公園に建つフェリーターミナルであったため、公園のランドスケープと一体となるような建築を考えました。円形の屋根は大きな螺旋階段となっており、上部は川へ向かって階段を登りながら上昇し、眺めのいい眺望をもたらし、下部はチケット売り場までの段差を緩やかに降りながら建築の内部へとアプローチできます。強い幾何学で構成されながらも、多くの人に開き心地よい居場所をつくる建築を提案しました。
