Tourist Center

It is an interior design of tourist information center. A variety of functions such as an information counter, pamphlet setting, products sales, and a rest space were required, and it was required to be able to manage it with a small number of people. The existing architecture is unique shape, so I designed circular shaped counter at the center, and it is designed to have various functions arranged around it. In addition, by using a mirror on the side of the counter, while giving the presence that shows the expression reflecting the surrounding landscape, it is also possible to harmonize the existing wooden tile floor and the contrast between the old and new. あまがさき観光案内所の内装設計です。インフォメーションカウンター、パンフレット設置、物販、休憩スペースなど多様な機能が必要になり、それを少人数で管理できることが要求されました。また既存の建築は特殊な形をしていることもあり、その形に呼応する様な変形した円形のカウンターを中央に設置し、周囲に様々な機能が配置される様にデザインしました。カウンターの側面にはミラーを用いることで、周囲の風景を映し出し様々な表情を見せる存在感を持たせると同時に、既存の木タイルの床と新旧の対比を持たせながらも調和することを意図しました
