S House

This is a Japanese-style house design with a wooden building in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture, which will be completed in the fall of 2020. The big gable roof covering the carport and entrance porch gently welcomes the owner's family every day, and fall snow not before approaching. 2020年秋に完成した富山県高岡市に建つ木造平屋の和風住宅の設計です。カーポートと玄関ポーチを覆う大きな切妻屋根が毎日施主家族を優しく迎え入れると同時に、アプローチする前面に雪が落ちないように工夫しています。何十年後も施主の生活を包み続けここに力強く在り続けるような、未来にも色褪せないデザインを考えました。
