Kuroda Kagaku Co., Ltd. is a company that explores the possibilities of plastics and creates a wide range of products. Transforming a flexible material into something of value requires human wisdom and craftsmanship. This sign was designed as a sculptural object that embodies that spirit. The stainless-steel freestanding sign gradually deforms through square and circular ridges, symbolizing “the wisdom to transform form” and the cross-section of the company’s philosophy, Plamechanism. Reflecting the surrounding rural landscape while subtly transforming it, the surface expresses the company’s vision of shaping a new landscape through technology. It is more than a sign—it is a manifestation of the company’s spirit and identity. 黒田化学株式会社は、プラスチックの可能性を追求し、多様な製品を生み出す企業です。可変性の高い素材を価値ある形へと変えるのは人間の知恵と技術。その精神を象徴するオブジェのような看板をデザインしました。 ステンレス製の自立看板は、□と○の凹凸によって徐々に変形し、「形を変える知恵」と「プラメカニズム」という理念の断面を表しています。周囲の田園風景を映し込みながらも、それを変化させ、新たな風景へと昇華する姿は、技術によって社会の景色をつくる企業の姿勢を体現しています。 単なる企業名表示ではなく、企業の精神そのものを形にした“看板を超えた看板”です。
